I'm Dr. Caitlin Gasperetti, a licensed psychologist practicing in New York City. I work with high-achieving young adults, adolescents, and parents: people who appear capable and put-together from the outside and are quietly carrying more than anyone around them knows. I see clients virtually throughout New York, Connecticut, and Florida, and in person on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

My work focuses on anxiety, perfectionism, and the particular exhaustion of always being the one who figures it out. Many of the women I work with are articulate and self-aware. They understand themselves well, but haven't had the right space to use that understanding. Something recently shifted: a panic attack, a life transition that removed the scaffolding, a slow build of years of performing fine. They're ready to understand what's actually underneath it. I also work with parents navigating a child's mental health crisis, who need support for themselves in one of the most disorienting experiences a parent can face.

My approach is active and collaborative. I draw on CBT and DBT as starting points, not scripts, adapting to what each person actually needs rather than following a fixed framework. I'm less interested in handing you tools than in understanding what's driving the anxiety, the perfectionism, the gap between how things look and how they actually feel. You'll leave with both insight and something real you can use.
