I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist who has been in practice since 2002. I have a masters in Social Work from NYU and certificates in both Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Training Institute for Mental Health. While my training is psychodynamic, I practice with an eclectic approach that encompass techniques that are body-centered, but supportive and educational, when appropriate.
In 2019 I completed a survey course in trauma modalities, and have also completed a two year certificate program in psychodynamic supervision.
In my practice I focus on helping young adults (18-30) cope with issues such as relationships, identity and people of all ages managing career issues (conflicts or changes). In addition, I have considerable experience working with adults on parenting issues, with a particular focus on parents of children with special needs.
I am pleased to offer a sliding fee scale when possible, especially during daytime hours for both psychotherapy and supervision.
I created a group practice that specializes in working with women, in 2021.
