Dr. Christina Fiorvanti is a licensed psychologist in NY and DC specializing in perinatal mental health and infant and early childhood mental health. She completed her doctorate in school psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, an early childhood internship at UNC Chapel Hill, and a fellowship in perinatal and infant mental health at Mount Sinai Parent-Infant Center. Dr. Fiorvanti worked most recently as Supervising Psychologist and Director of Teaching/Training in the HealthySteps Program/Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration Program at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. She has worked with hundreds of parents and families navigating the joys and challenges of parenting. Dr. Fiorvanti also holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).

Dr. Fiorvanti supports individuals and families on their journey of preparing to become parents or welcome a new baby through the childhood years. She has expertise in parent-child relationships, child behavior, development, special needs, sleep, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Fiorvanti utilizes attachment/relationship-focused interventions alongside behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and ACT approaches. She has training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Circle of Security Parenting, and Incredible Years. She can work with individual adults, families or dyads, finding an approach and format that works best for your family's needs. Dr. Fiorvanti also provides clinical reflective consultation for professionals who are working with perinatal and early childhood patients.

Dr. Fiorvanti primarily offers virtual services at this time, but please inquire about home-based or office-based services in Port Washington, Long Island (and the surrounding area). Select insurances are accepted along with private pay.
