I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in work with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma related disorders, as well as relationship and life stage challenges. I also have a specialization in work with individuals experiencing chronic pain and illness as well as work with their caregivers and family members.
I believe that the more fully we understand ourselves and the stories that inform our experiences, the more empowered we are to make intentional choices that move us towards a more connected and authentic life. I utilize my training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, family systems therapy from the Ackerman Institute for the family, and CBT as indicated based on my client’s unique needs.
