Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW-R, AASECT CST
Based in Brooklyn, I practice psychotherapy and sex therapy with individuals and couples. I received my Master of Social Work degree from New York University's Silver School of Social Work, and a B.F.A. in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts from Ithaca College.
I studied at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, where I completed the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy training program. I am certified in Financial Social Work, which provides concrete tasks for money management, as well as addressing emotional stressors that impact how individuals relate to money.
In the past few years, I have broadened my practice to address sexual issues. I am certified as a Sex Therapist through AASECT (www.aasect.org), and have completed training in Sex Therapy through the University of Michigan's School of Social Work. Currently, I am broadening my couples therapy knowledge through coursework with The Couples Institute.
Prior to my career in psychotherapy, I worked in television and photography. My creative background has enhanced my skills as a psychotherapist, and switching careers has assisted me in helping others do the same.
