Life in NYC is filled with demands and stressors, both at work and at home. Balancing all that is required can be an overwhelming, anxious and even distressing experience. Yet the distress you feel today does not need to be your new normal, there is hope! I believe that each person is resilient, with the capacity to build connection and heal.
I offer a warm, empathic and collaborative therapeutic experience that is rooted in the fundamental belief of each person I meet. I specialize in attachment based, trauma focused therapy, joining you on your journey of healing and growth. I work well with individuals who are experiencing anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma and difficult life transitions.
I am passionate about maternal mental health and meeting the needs of women who are struggling with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, pregnancy loss, infertility and the myriad of stressors induced from motherhood. Whether you are a first-time mom or a mother of multiple children, juggling the needs of your family as well as your own self and body can be difficult and complex. The wide range of emotions and thoughts experienced can often leave you feeling isolated and alone, even in the age of mommy blogs!
Making the decision to reach out for support is brave and courageous. I look forward to meeting you.
