Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, PhD, CST
For over 20+ years, I have provided psychotherapy to individuals and couples throughout NYC and Long Island (in-person and remotely). I take an integrative, collaborative approach to treatment, drawing on a diverse professional background and the belief that effective therapy must be tailored to each person and relationship.
As a PhD-level clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I specialize in helping clients address a wide range of sexual concerns—from desire discrepancies and sexual pain to performance anxiety, intimacy challenges, and sexual dysfunctions. I am also experienced in treating complex relationship issues, infidelity, eating and body image concerns, personality dynamics, parenting conflict, personality disorders and LGBTQIA+ issues.
My clinical perspective is shaped by a diverse professional journey—from business to mental health—which allows me to understand the many layers of people’s personal, relational, and work lives. I view counseling and psychotherapy as true teamwork: a problem-solving partnership that evolves with the client. I’m an optimistic clinician and confident in the effectiveness of psychotherapy to help people feel more fulfilled, connected, and empowered in their relationships—with partners, family, friends, and colleagues. No one should have to move through life feeling conflicted, dispassionate, or “not enough.”
In addition to my clinical practice work, I’ve had the honor of teaching as an Adjunct Professor in SUNY Stony Brook’s MSW program and regularly provide lectures, workshops, and educational programs for organizations across the New York area. My work has also been featured in The New York Times, Newsday, and on HBO, Lifetime, and Oxygen.
I welcome professional referrals and inquiries from individuals and couples seeking a supportive, sex-positive, and effective therapeutic space.
