For more than two decades, I’ve worked with individuals and couples throughout New York City and Long Island—both in person and remotely—to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and address the full spectrum of sexual and relational concerns. As a seasoned couples therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I offer an integrative, collaborative approach that adapts to the unique needs of each person and partnership.

With a PhD from NYU, licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, and advanced training in sex therapy, I provide comprehensive care for clients navigating challenges related to intimacy, desire, conflict, identity, life transitions, and mental health. My work is grounded in optimism and a deep belief in the effectiveness of psychotherapy to help people feel more connected, fulfilled, and empowered in every part of their lives.

Specializations:

  • Couples Therapy & Relationship Dynamics
  • Sex therapy (AASECT Certified)
  • Desire discrepancies and sexual avoidance
  • Sexual pain and genito-pelvic concerns
  • Performance anxiety and arousal challenges
  • Infidelity, trust repair, and relational trauma
  • Communication and conflict resolution
  • Parenting conflict and co-parenting
  • LGBTQIA+ affirming care
  • Body image concerns and relationship to food
  • personality disorders
  • Identity development and life transitions
  • Work-related stress, burnout, and interpersonal issues

My clinical perspective is shaped by a diverse professional background spanning both business and mental health, giving me a practical, multidimensional understanding of how personal, relational, and occupational pressures interact. I view psychotherapy as a teamwork-based, problem-solving process—one that evolves with the client and supports meaningful, sustainable change.

In addition to my clinical work, I have served as an Adjunct Professor in the MSW program at SUNY Stony Brook and regularly offer lectures, workshops, and educational programs throughout the New York area. My work has been featured in The New York Times, Newsday, and on HBO, Lifetime, and Oxygen.

I welcome inquiries and referrals from individuals and couples seeking a supportive, sex-positive, and highly skilled therapeutic environment.
