I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual psychotherapy to adults in New York and Connecticut. I see clients in person in Ridgefield, CT. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, women's health challenges including postpartum depression, and life transitions.
For the past fifteen years, I have been deeply immersed in both psychology and somatic practices as a yoga professional. This unique background informs my practice, which is rooted in understanding the profound connection between mind and body.
Training & Expertise
I am trained through the Parnell Institute as an Attachment-Focused EMDR Level 1, 2, and 3 Therapist, and hold certifications in Embodied Trauma Conscious Reproductive Health and The Trauma Conscious Yoga Method. This specialized training allows me to bring a trauma-informed, body-centered approach to our work together.
Working Together
Taking the first steps toward change is not always easy. In our work together, you can expect a collaborative approach that leaves you feeling grounded, heard, and understood. Our sessions will provide you with tools to cope with anxiety and depression, implement healthy boundaries, manage stress, build self-esteem, and create meaningful change through proven techniques. You will become empowered through understanding how your mind and body respond to your unique challenges.
My Approach
I use an integrative approach that draws from Mind-Body Somatic Psychotherapy, EMDR, Insight-Oriented Therapy, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems. This allows me to tailor our work to your specific needs and goals.
