I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst with over 25 years of experience working with adults 18+ with concerns about eating, exercise, weight, and body image, as well as a wide range of other issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship/family problems, trauma, identity issues, college mental health, career concerns, and life transitions. Starting therapy can be difficult, and I strive to create a warm, collaborative and nonjudgmental space in which you can safely explore yourself and how you relate to others, and work through current challenges and obstacles in your life. I participate actively in the therapeutic dialogue, and I view psychotherapy as a shared journey of self discovery that can lead to lasting change.

I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at NYU, my internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the NYU student counseling center. I also received specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders at the Renfrew Center, NYU, and Barnard College.

In addition to over two decades of practice as a clinical psychologist, I am a graduate of NYU's Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. I provide supervision to psychologists-in-training, and I present and write for professional conferences and publications.
