In a time of political and social turmoil, I'm especially excited to be a part of this group. I am committed to the work of psychotherapy--to helping the individual and couples I see achieve comfort with and joy in their emotional lives. As I've advanced in my career I've become more and more interested in couples work for the impact I've seen it have on families. Inasmuch, I'm working on completing my certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which provides a great framework within which to use what I know from psychodynamic theory about development and attachment. My goal is to build my couples practice in particular, while I continue to do deep individual work with a wide range of adult patients.
