Treating clients for over 20 years in the heart of NYC. My work is informed by my many years of training in psychodynamic psychotherapy which also incorporates an integration of CBT and mindfulness techniques. My practice treats adults both in person and virtually across the mental health spectrum addressing a wide range of issues and conditions. I have long standing training and experience in substance abuse treatment, EMDR, trauma treatment, relationship counseling, couples therapy, postpartum, infertility and parenting issues. Insight oriented reflection, and the inclusion of shared humor helps to develop a strong empathic relationship and a warm safe environment. The use of gentle and clear boundaries offers the client the road to a more solid sense of self, with needed self awareness, the ability to be in healthy relationships, and the better management of their lives with feelings of joy and accomplishment.
