Ania Siwek Schwartzman (she/her)

Dr. Schwartzman is a nationally recognized psychologist committed to guiding clients through anxiety, depression or phase of life transitions with the intention of fostering resilience and lasting change. In addition to private practice, Dr. Schwartzman is the ELC school psychologist at The Avenues World School.

With a structured, collaborative, and compassionate approach, Dr. Schwartzman uses her depth of knowledge to support individuals to not just survive but thrive. Her specialities include anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, significant life transitions (e.g., college, new job, career transitions, marriage, divorce, parenthood, perimenopause), learning challenges and social pragmatics.

Dr. Schwartzman received her Master's and Doctorate Degrees in Child Clinical School Psychology from Yeshiva University and her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish from Brandeis University.

Dr. Schwartzman trained at The Jewish Board of Family & Children Services, Bellevue Hospital, and Beth Israel Hospital.

Dr. Schwartzman founded The Fashionologist, dedicated to empowering women to enhance their confidence, executive presence, and leadership skills.

Dr. Schwartzman is a member of American Psychological Association, APA Media Referral Service, NYSPA, Gesher Community Care.

Dr. Schwartzman strives to support all clients, regardless of race, religion, ability, gender identificatoin, and sexual orientation by creating a safe space where individuals feel heard and seen.
