Audrey Reichman, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist on the Upper West Side of Manhattan whose broad mission is to promote emotional wellbeing in her patients. Dr. Reichman enjoys actively helping children, adolescents and adults to self-reflect and gain insight, leading to more meaningful, satisfying lives and relationships. She treats all kinds of concerns, including depression, anxiety, loss, life transitions, and career, school, relationship and self-esteem difficulties.
Dr. Reichman has an area of expertise in helping women navigate the transition to motherhood, including pregnancy; addressing the impact of past or current trauma on the parent-child relationship; treating depression and anxiety; finding ways to maintain self-care after a baby is born; handling changes in the dynamic between partners; balancing work and motherhood; and helping siblings to adjust to a new addition to the family. Dr. Reichman is passionate about working with parents and young children in therapy together, because she believes here-and-now interventions can be made to enrich the bond and address potential behavioral and developmental concerns.
