Clinical psychologist in private practice. Specializations include: multiculturalism, biracial identity, trauma treatment, and health behavior change. Supervising psychologist at Yale University School of Medicine. Previously coordinated DEI efforts at Yale Health, Mental Health and Counseling. Scholarly work examines the effects of discrimination, health disparities, stigmatized identities, and multiracial/ethnic identity formation. Trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, internal family systems therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder, and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. Certified as a Kripalu Yoga Instructor and as an Institute for Integrative Nutrition Wellness Coach. Available to provide clinical supervision and to facilitate corporate wellness events. I seek to understand how clients' formative life experiences shape how they view themselves and their relationshipss. Rather than a path of predetermination, I view their experiences as a source of wisdom and strength. My intention is to help clients gain clarity, express themselves with greater authenticity, and claim a more full experience of life.
