My background includes a strong foundation in psychodynamic theory and advanced training in geropsychology, neuropsychology and forensics. My experience also includes 6 years working as a staff psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs where I received training in evidenced based treatments for various mental health conditions.
I graduated from from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2007 and then earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2013. My postdoctoral residency in Geropsychology and Neuropsychology was completed in 2014 at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn Campus.
My clinical specialties include evaluation and treatment of Post-Traumatic-Stress-Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and forensic evaluations for disability benefits purposes.
