Dr. Raskin is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in maternal and perinatal mental health, including perinatal anxiety, depression, and PTSD. As a certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and Infant Mental Health Specialist (IMH-E®), she supports women, parents, and families navigating the emotional transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Prior to founding Everyday Parenting Psychology, Dr. Raskin spent over 15 years working in hospitals, agencies, and schools throughout New York City and Westchester County, helping parents and young children strengthen emotional and behavioral regulation.
Dr. Raskin brings extensive expertise in trauma, parent-child relationships, and child development to her work with adults, helping them understand how their own early experiences shape their identities as parents, partners, and individuals. She takes a developmental, relational, and trauma-informed approach, integrating body-based, “bottom-up” therapies tailored to each person’s needs.
Her clinical work draws on advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and meditation, as well as specialized training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. She is certified in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy through the Ketamine Training Center and trained in MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD through MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). With specialized training across both the perinatal and infant/early childhood periods, Dr. Raskin offers a unique perspective that helps parents deepen their understanding of themselves and their children.
