Does looking for a therapist feel like online dating? At the beginning of a new relationship there are more questions than answers: Is this a good idea? Will I like her? Will I feel comfortable with her? Will I be respected? Will I be understood? And, what if I don't know what to look for in a therapist?
I'll go first. My name is Nell. My approach is a blend of humor, curiosity and collaborative problem-solving. In my practice, I work with children, adolescents, and adults providing individual therapy, couple's therapy, family therapy and parenting support.
I am humbled and grateful to be a partner in making the life that you want. And if you don't know what you want, bring your questions. Having all of the answers at the beginning is often overrated.
