Emma Savage, LMHC, is a dedicated Staff Clinician at the Iona University Counseling Center, where she specializes in providing short-term supportive therapy to college students. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by young adults, Emma focuses on creating a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic environment. Her areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, identity issues, self-esteem, and supporting current and former competitive athletes, as well as survivors of intimate partner violence.

As a therapist, Emma employs a relational and psychodynamic approach, believing that the therapeutic relationship is a vital component of healing. She is committed to providing a safe space where clients feel heard and supported, empowering them to explore their thoughts and emotions. Now entering into private practice, Emma aims to extend her therapeutic services beyond the college setting. Her practice will incorporate both short-term and long-term therapy options, allowing clients to choose the duration and focus of their treatment.
