I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Maine, New York, and New Jersey. I work with adults and couples.
I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, intense emotions, major life transitions, and relationship conflict, as well as specialty training in working with mothers, first responders, academics, and medical professionals.
I have received advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and couples therapy. My specialized training includes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), DBT-PE, Prolonged Grief Treatment, and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP).
Before opening my practice, I served as Director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. I am a Linehan Board–certified clinician in DBT and, during my time in Columbia’s faculty practice I developed it's training program, co directing a fellowship that integrated DBT with psychodynamic training.
My clinical work is informed by the ongoing study and practice of Zen Buddhism.
