Difficult feelings can be a gateway for personal growth. I am an interactive therapist who listens carefully and shares my perspective. Therapy is an opportunity to explore and better understand your thoughts and feelings, to make sense of your experiences and experiment with new ways of being, and to try new things to figure out together what helps. I will make suggestions for things you can try, but I will rely on you and your experiences to be the true test of whether something works. I want you to feel better, grow and thrive.
I am an antiracist, trauma informed clinician; an educator; a social justice advocate; a community organizer; a passionate speaker; a training facilitator; a justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion consultant; an ally; and a critical thinker.
I am a certified EMDR provider, have a Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), and Post Master’s Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
I believe in the power of healing. I support validation, forgiveness, connection, and vulnerability. I believe YOU can become your best self, and I am happy to accompany you on that journey.
