I work with young adults, mainly college students, and adults ages 17-45, specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, and working through your relationship with your body/exercise/food. I take a Health At Every Size-oriented and anti-diet approach in my work. In addition to treating eating disorders, I also work with clients going through radical adult transitions and struggling with interpersonal relationships.
I trained at The Renfrew Center, one of the nation’s leading eating disorder treatment centers. I received my Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College. I use a combination of evidence based theoretical orientations including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) for families and supports.
I take a warm and collaborative approach to therapy with a strong belief that the therapeutic alliance between the therapist and client is paramount to the client's work. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and lived experiences. I am the founder of Elle L. Psychotherapy and currently practicing solely via Telehealth.
