Ellen J. Klausner, PhD is a clinical psychologist who has specialized in the assessment and treatment of clinical depression, anxiety, PTSD and phobias for over twenty years.
As Clinical Assistant Professor of Pyschology in Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Klausner supervises trainees in psychotherapy and clinical research. She maintains a private practice both in Manhattan and White Plains, New York utilizing psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive behavioral approaches in her work.
Dr. Klausner has published numerous articles and book chapters in the areas of PTSD, clinical depression and coping with diabetes. She completed a NIMH fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry and is sensitive to the needs and concerns of older adults.
