Emilie K. Clark, LCSW, provides depth-oriented therapy for people feeling burnt out by the high-pressure demands of their lives. She offers in-person sessions in NYC’s Financial District and virtual sessions across New York and New Jersey. With advanced training in trauma therapy, she helps patients uncover the roots of overwork, perfectionism, and the habit of always putting others’ needs first.

Emilie works with kids, teens, and adults. In addition to traditional talk therapy, Emilie uses play, and expressive arts to support each person’s journey toward growth and healing. As a current candidate in psychoanalytic training at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis, Emilie is committed to helping patients move beyond quick fixes and make lasting changes in their lives. She also recognizes that burnout is often shaped by cultural and systemic pressures, and she frequently works with LGBTQ+ clients who are navigating the impact of misunderstanding and rejection in schools, workplaces, and families. Emilie knows that when someone comes to therapy they are often at a breaking point. She supports people in making concrete changes in their lives while prioritizing work that goes far beyond symptom relief to help people break cycles, build healthier patterns, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
