I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the NYC area working with diverse adult clinical populations, from college-aged through seniors, and with all sexual orientations. In my private practice, I work with high-achieving individuals with a significant mental health and/or substance use history. I help bright, driven individuals who are on their way back up from darkness to light, from disorder and illness to recovery and mental health. Once the primary work is done and symptoms are under control, I help individuals along the next steps of the journey to build or rebuild a life, find a voice, and rediscover a sense of dignity and self.With the relationship at the center of treatment, I use a range of modalities tailored to the individual's needs, preferences, and style, including IFS, Harm Reduction, and psychodynamic models. Employing a unique combination of warmth, empathy, creativity, and humor, I help guide people toward realizing that recovery is real.
