Dr. Eli Kraiem is a widely recognized couples and relationship expert. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, where he teaches and lectures on couples therapy and relationship dynamics.
Dr. Kraiem is trained in multiple evidence-based couples therapy modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Psychodynamic Couples Therapy. He utilizes an integrative approach, drawing from these models to tailor treatment to the unique needs, personalities, and dynamics of each couple. His work focuses on helping partners better understand one another, improve communication, and move out of the repetitive conflict cycles that often keep relationships feeling stuck.
Dr. Kraiem earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University. He received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychoanalytic therapy. Integrating these approaches, Dr. Kraiem combines practical, evidence-based strategies with deeper insight-oriented work to help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns. His approach is particularly effective for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties, addressing both immediate concerns and the underlying dynamics that shape emotional well-being.
