Dr. Racine is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in individual therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. She also conducts parent work, as well as dyadic therapy with parents and young children. Dr. Racine utilizes a warm and empathic approach in order to create a collaborative partnership with her clients. In addition to her private practice, she is an adjunct clinical supervisor to current doctoral students at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.

Dr. Racine obtained her doctorate from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in the Combined School-Clinical Child Psychology Program. She completed her APA-Accredited pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at Montefiore Medical Center, where she received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Based Therapy (FBT), to treat anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, phobias, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral issues.

Upon completing her internship, Dr. Racine pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University, where she gained additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, working with emerging and older adults. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, college counseling, day treatment programs, community based mental health clinics, outpatient hospital settings, and inpatient hospitals. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

In her private practice, she employs a developmental and intersectional lens when working with clients, meaning she conceptualizes current concerns within the context of one’s upbringing and family system, while considering the role of race, ethnicity, sexual and gender orientation, culture, and religion. Her work also draws upon concrete strategies informed by dialectical (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT), and parent management training (PMT). Dr. Racine's goal is to work with clients to develop a deeper understanding of themselves, in order to help them thrive and communicate more effectively with peers and loved ones, as well as manage difficult presenting issues and life transitions.
