Erica Alter LCSW is a NYS and CT licensed couples and individual therapist, with private practices in Upper Westchester and in Greenwich Connecticut. She hold an advanced certification in couples therapy from the Training Institute of Mental Health and specializes in working with couples at all stages of conflict and chapters of life.
Erica has almost a decade of experience helping couples turn their relationship issues into constructive opportunities rather than destructive dynamics. Through EFT, she works with them to identify patterns, reconstruct attachments, and exchange lasting empathy. She also works with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, career dissatisfaction, sleep disorders, and the transition to parenting. Through mindfulness-based therapies and CBT, Erica works with individuals and the power of self-compassion to help clients become their own agents of change.
Erica offers a free 15-minute consultation to see if she might be the right fit for a potential client's needs. She fully and wholly believe in this work and that each one of us is worthy of lasting change.
