Farah Delicia, LCSW, MPH is a trauma psychotherapist based in New York, bringing over twenty years of experience supporting individuals to heal, move with confidence, and discover a life of joy even in the face of suffering.

Farah maintains a private psychotherapy practice specializing in the intersections of anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, family stress, and neurodivergence. Her practice is a dedicated, affirming space for women across the lifespan navigating corporate or academic burnout, late-identified ADHD, and deep family patterns. She walks closely alongside high-achieving professionals, new parents, and postpartum moms trying to find their footing without losing themselves.

After an impactful career in nonprofit and international development roles, Farah transitioned into therapy to encourage self-knowledge and empower lasting change. She holds a dual Masters of Clinical Social Work and Masters in Public Health from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.

Farah is an EMDR Trained Therapist (EMDRIA) and an ADHD Certified Clinical Provider (Evergreen Certifications). She completed a graduate externship in CBT and DBT through New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Child and Adolescent Outpatient program. In addition, she is a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, allowing her to bring a deeply somatic, body-aware approach to healing.

Farah’s style is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. She believes true change occurs in contained, gentle spaces where there is a balance of non-judgmental witnessing and strategic problem-solving.

When she is off the clock you can find her drawing construction vehicles for her toddler, attempting to keep her plants alive, and planning a weekend adventure with her husband of twenty years.
