Madeline Fischer, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist providing individual and couples therapy to adults in New York, Connecticut, and PSYPACT-participating states. Her clinical work focuses on anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, grief and loss, relationship dynamics, and major life transitions. She has a particular interest in women’s mental health, including the ways identity, relationships, life experiences, and changing roles can shape emotional well-being across the lifespan.
Dr. Fischer takes a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy, helping clients better understand themselves, recognize longstanding patterns, and develop new ways of navigating emotional and relational challenges. Her work emphasizes the interconnected nature of emotional health, self-understanding, and relationships. She is particularly interested in supporting women as they navigate periods of transition, questions of identity, relationship challenges, and the often complex expectations they encounter in their personal and professional lives.
Integrating evidence-based treatment with a thoughtful, relational perspective, Dr. Fischer strives to create a therapeutic environment in which clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to make lasting changes.
