Dr. Margaux Genoff Garzon is a doctoral-level psychotherapist licensed in New York and Florida (telehealth only). She views psychotherapy as a powerful resource for overcoming obstacles and unlocking potential. Her approach is collaborative and relational, focusing on understanding each person’s unique experiences in order to tailor therapy to their needs.

She draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including psychodynamic theory, somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, ERP, and mindfulness. She works with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of personal and relational challenges.

Her areas of expertise include:

  • Perinatal mental health (i.e., infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and/or anxiety, or postpartum psychosis)
  • Post-Traumatic Stress disorder and trauma-focused therapies
  • Severe and persistent mental illness (i.e., bipolar disorder)
  • Evidence-based treatments for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression
  • Personality traits characterized by excessive control and rigidity

Her practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, with a commitment to honoring and understanding how personal identities shape life experiences and the therapeutic process.

In addition to psychotherapy, she offers coaching services to support personal and professional growth, as well as supervision and consultation for clinicians seeking a collaborative space to reflect, deepen their skills, and strengthen their clinical work.
