Alicia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Grief Counselor, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who completed her Masters degree from New York University. Alicia has worked in a variety of clinical settings (including New York Presbyterian Hospital and University of Colorado) and has furthered her clinical education through various post masters certificates and trainings to provide research-backed clinical insights and therapeutic approaches for her clients.

A bit about my approach to therapy: Alicia's style is person centered, interactive, and strengths based. Alicia draws from various therapeutic modalities including CBT, psychodynamic, interpersonal, somatic energy healing, and solution based. Areas of specialization include anxiety, trauma, relationship and family dynamics, life transitions, loss, stress, self esteem/body image, and athletic performance.

What you can expect from our first session: Alicia's mission is to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where one can build better self-awareness, learn new coping strategies, and take meaningful steps towards reaching one's goal(s).
