Hannah Yves Knafo, Ph.D. is a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist.Dr. Knafo earned her doctoral degree from The New School for Social Research in New York City and she completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Knafo currently works as a clinical psychologist at the Rose F. Kennedy Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY where she conducts family therapy, individual psychotherapy (with parents), dyadic therapy (parent and child), and play therapy. Dr. Knafo is also on faculty at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she trains psychology graduate students, psychiatry fellows, and medical residents in trauma-informed treatment of vulnerable families.
Dr. Knafo’s research interests are integrated into her clinical technique, using the framework of attachment theory and other psychoanalytic theories to guide her work with individuals at all stages of development across the lifespan.
