After a career teaching English in private and public New York City schools, I became a psychotherapist to promote healing and growth in children, adolescents, and adults. My unique perspective on the school/family/student relationship allows me to help parents and with children social, relational, and behavioral development.
In therapy, I combine psychoanalytic concepts of attachment and Buddhist teachings on freedom from suffering to help clients gain insight on their struggles and find resources to overcome them.
