I am a Licensed Master Social Worker at Union Square Practice in Manhattan who specializes in perinatal mental health. I see young adults and pregnant & postpartum women struggling with adjustment, anxiety, depression, and other difficulties that often arise during major life transitions, such as the transitions to adulthood and parenthood. I work collaboratively with clients, focusing on the present and most pressing concerns, while dipping back into the past. I believe our past experiences and early relationships hold the data to help us better understand our present-day coping systems and internal narratives. With this insight, we can make lasting change within ourselves and our relationships.

My work is holistic and dynamic, rooted in relational theory while integrating aspects of DBT & CBT, as well as trauma-informed and attachment-based interventions. When working on parent-infant attachment, I encourage clients to bring their baby into our therapy room to play, explore, and strengthen the bond between the parent and baby.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree at Barnard College, prior to earning my Masters in Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work. I completed my clinical training in parent-infant psychotherapy at The Motherhood Center of New York, and went on to complete the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at the William Alanson White Institute. I am currently accepting new clients both in person and virtually at Union Square Practice. Additionally, I am the author if The Holding Environment on Substack.
