Hi, I’m Dr. Ida Piker. I’m a licensed psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and families. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely understood, respected, and comfortable being themselves.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I take time to understand the whole person and consider their strengths, relationships, experiences, family, and environment. I believe behavior is communication, and I work collaboratively with clients and families to understand what may be underneath a behavior and identify strategies that feel meaningful and sustainable.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, ASD, ADHD, emotional regulation, social challenges, relationships, and life transitions. I frequently work with neurodivergent children and teens and take a neurodiversity-affirming approach that supports clients in understanding themselves, building skills, and feeling empowered to be their authentic selves. I also value working with parents and families to support the relationships and systems around each child.

My goal is to create a therapy space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood, while building on their strengths and developing skills to navigate life with greater confidence. I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where every client and family feels welcomed, respected, and valued for who they are.
