Psychologist, PsyD
I strive to create a warm, genuine, and supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and understood without judgment. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship.
I work with women navigating the many transitions and emotional complexities of life, including infertility, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and parenthood. I have a particular interest in supporting women as they navigate identity shifts, changing roles, relationships, and the challenges of balancing their own needs with the demands of motherhood.
I also work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, perfectionism, emotion regulation difficulties, and adjustment to new roles and identities. I especially enjoy helping young adults navigate emerging adulthood, including transitions related to college, graduate school, career development, independence, and identity formation.
My treatment approach is integrative and individualized. I work through a psychodynamic lens while drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and other evidence-informed interventions. I help clients develop practical coping strategies while also exploring the deeper patterns and experiences that may be contributing to current struggles.
My background in Visual Art and Art History also influences my work. I recognize the power of creativity and self-expression as tools for reflection, emotional processing, and healing, and I incorporate creative approaches into therapy when meaningful and beneficial for the individual.
