I work primarily with Asian American women healing from childhood sexual abuse and sexual trauma. These experiences have shaped your relationship to your body, boundaries, intimacy, and pleasure.
You may have learned early on to disconnect in order to survive. To stay quiet. To stay agreeable. To override your body’s signals because listening didn’t feel safe. Even now, your body may hold fear, numbness, shame, or confusion, especially around touch, desire, or being seen.
Many of the women I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply self-aware. And still, their bodies remain on high alert. Intimacy may feel overwhelming or distant. Pleasure may feel muted, confusing, or unreachable. You might carry a deep sense that something is wrong with you, even though you know—somewhere inside—that what happened was not your fault.
Our work together is slow, relational, and grounded in the body. We begin by creating safety and steadiness, helping your nervous system feel more supported. Through somatic therapy, we listen to your body’s protective responses, honor how they helped you survive, and gently build capacity for choice, boundaries, and presence.
Healing sexual trauma is not about pushing yourself to feel ready for intimacy or pleasure. It’s about restoring your relationship with your body, so that desire, connection, and aliveness can emerge naturally, in their own time.
If you’re tired of carrying this alone, and something in you knows it’s time for deeper healing, I offer a free 30-minute consultation. You don’t need to have the right words, just a willingness to begin.
