I am a board-certified psychiatrist based in New York City, providing comprehensive treatment to adults 18 years and older through a combination of individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology.
My expertise lies in treating early life trauma and dissociative disorders, and I am deeply committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community with gender-affirming care. My background in internal medicine informs my holistic approach, emphasizing the vital connection between physical and mental health.
I take a therapeutic approach that recognizes the profound meaning and value of the patient-therapist relationship. My goal is to help individuals deepen their relationships with themselves and others, ultimately guiding them to live life in a more flexible and meaningful way. I believe in a personalized, patient-centered approach to care, focusing on your goals at your own pace. By paying close attention to emotions, identity, and interpersonal dynamics, I help increase self-awareness and self-efficacy in everyday life.
I completed my psychiatry residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where I continue to serve as an assistant clinical professor, consulting in emergency and inpatient settings. I also previously held the role of medical director for the hospital’s Partial Hospital Program.
Before specializing in psychiatry, I completed a residency in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital. I earned my medical degree from Tel Aviv University, where I published research in Cardiology and Urology. My undergraduate studies were at Emory University, where I majored in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, conducting research on the neurological basis of memory formation.
