Dr. Jaime Coffino, PhD, MPH is a clinical psychologist and the the Director of the Coffino Center for Eating, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders in New York City. She opened the Coffino Center because she wanted to provide high-quality evidence-based treatment and personalized care to patients.
Dr. Coffino earned her Master of Public Heath degree from Columbia University and doctorate in clinical psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York. During her PhD training, she completed a predoctoral fellowship specializing in eating disorder treatment at Yale University and a clinical psychology internship within the behavioral medicine track at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Dr. Coffino would describe her therapy approach as empathetic, direct, and skills-based. She flexibly utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy approaches including dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy to help patients meet their treatment goals.
