I'm a Brooklyn-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with individuals and couples. I have a graduate degree from NYU, a Post-Master's Certificate in Couples Therapy from the Ackerman Institute for the Family, and postgraduate training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method (Level 2), and more.
I specialize in working with couples who feel disconnected, caught in recurring conflict, or facing important challenges and transitions. I also work with couples preparing for marriage or parenthood and navigating cultural differences.
With individuals, I work on relationship and family dynamics, breakups and divorce, dating, parenting, work stress, life transitions, and other challenges.
My style is active and collaborative, balanced with a deep sense of empathy, warmth, and respect.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in software development and management. That experience still shapes how I work. I understand the pressures and complexities of professional life and tend to connect well with clients who are high-achieving, analytically minded, or navigating demanding careers. I also work with a number of fellow therapists, which is something I value and appreciate.
My clinical experience also spans New York City's social services sector, including community mental health, schools, and homeless services.
