You have taken a courageous step in seeking therapy. It is not always easy to talk about how you feel, what you've been through or what you want. Some experiences are beyond words. I see my clients as individuals who have the brilliant capacity to heal and connect with their innate self-worth. I create a warm and comforting space where you will feel seen and heard. My approach is interactive and incorporates an intersectional trauma lens, combined with body awareness. Together we can look how systems, identity, culture and history intertwine and impact how you move through the world and how you feel about yourself as a person.
I am passionate about working with complex and intergenerational trauma, addiction, and loss (including animal companion/pet loss). I am also dedicated to working with those who are exploring their gender or sexuality, first generation or children of immigrants, are creative, or struggle with anxiety, depression, relationships, or anger.
I utilize EMDR, somatic therapy, parts work, harm reduction/motivational enhancement & other approaches. Cultural/Ancestral experience is honored & can be an important part of your journey.
