Jessica Moskowitz (She/Her/Hers)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private practice in midtown Manhattan. When I decided to go back to school for a master’s degree, I chose social work because I felt strongly about its foundational belief that focus should be on both a person and their environment. After graduate school, I wanted to further my education and completed the four-year postgraduate training program in Adult Psychoanalysis and Comprehensive Psychotherapy from The National Institute for the Psychotherapies. Prior to private practice, I worked with a diverse population in clinics throughout New York City. In addition to my practice, I teach courses at the Training Institute for Mental Health. I have completed a post master’s program in Spirituality and Social Work and a certificate program in Trauma Informed Clinical Practice at New York University.

My eclectic therapeutic approach draws from my background as a social worker as well as my training in relational psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and family/marital therapy. While thinking about the person and their environment I focus on the present and revisit the past in order to better understand how it affects one’s current life.
