I work collaboratively with adults navigating life transitions and struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, perfectionism, and shame. I also specialize in helping people make peace with their bodies and heal their relationships with food and exercise.
I see therapy as a deeply rewarding experience where you can cultivate self compassion, self acceptance, and flexibility. We'll create a safe space where you can process distressing feelings or challenges, grow in self understanding, build and practice new ways of coping, and move towards living a more fulfilling life in line with your values. My integrative approach means I'll always be responsive to your reasons for being in therapy and what you want to find. I have an open, exploratory style, but I also won't hesitate to share more concrete resources or suggest practices to test out in between sessions if we decide together it might help.
I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College. I've also completed post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) through the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford, in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (EX/RP) for OCD through the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania, and in the interpersonal psychoanalytic approach to eating disorders, compulsions, and addictions through the William Alanson White Institute.
