I currently work virtually with clients of all ages, races, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds, treating an array of issues not limited to -- low self-esteem/confidence, anxiety, romantic/peer/family relationships, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, stress management, grief, and existential life/identity concerns. As fit with the right therapist is essential, I offer a complimentary ½ hour Zoom consultation to assess mutual fit.

Guided by my intensive psychoanalytic training, my approach is primarily centered on identifying root causes (both conscious and unconscious) that may be interfering with my clients’ abilities to lead the lives of their choosing. Instead of applying bandaids/quick fixes to resolve deep-seated issues, I am committed to helping my clients dig deep from within to bring about meaningful, lasting change to their lives.

Working interactively and collaboratively, I help my clients unearth potential blocks and unhealthy patterns to make room for new possibilities that may have escaped their imaginations. I am also pragmatic in contending with pressing short-term issues that may take precedence, requiring immediate attention, as I believe both can co-exist within the therapeutic process. This process takes a willingness and commitment to stretch beyond one’s comfort zone to achieve meaningful, sustainable change.

My warmth and empathy provide a safe space for clients to freely express themselves and feel heard as an essential precursor to change, which can feel daunting. Remaining attuned to each client’s needs/preferences, the pace and depth of the process is modulated accordingly. Given the complexity of our lives, the process may take unexpected twists and turns - yielding priceless results!
