Jennifer Mezey

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Life Coach & a Level 3 trained Gottman therapist and a trained Mediator. I offer a solution focused approach while utilizing different behavioral practices, psychodynamic perspective and mindfulness.

I have been a practitioner in some capacity for over 20yrs. My first 10yrs were working with individuals that suffered from addiction. I shifted my work around 2014 to be in private practice working with individuals and couples.

I believe when you come into therapy, you are starting a journey to a better version of yourself, a happier life, seeking resolution from past traumas, finding grounding in being present and setting goals for the future. My job is to be your guide, utilizing my knowledge and skills. Along the way you will learn tools and techniques to navigate through life's sometimes rough terrain. Utilizing these tools will help you to heal, feel empowered and start to see your true abilities.

Several years of experience has taught me that you have the answers. At times insecurities, conflicts, issues and challenges make it difficult to find those answers. Often it leads to feeling defeated and/or stuck.
