I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice on the Upper West Side of NYC specializing in working with emerging adults (ages 18-35). Additionally, I am an affiliated psychotherapist and clinical supervisor at UWS Therapy Group, a group practice dedicated to working with emerging adults.

I believe deeply in the power of every person's life story as a tool to connect, educate, and to heal. I am committed to providing therapeutic care that promotes introspective growth, engenders self acceptance, and develops agency. My clinical interests include issues of identity, as well as relationships, grief, depression, anxiety, body image, substance abuse, self-esteem, and peer issues. I am particularly versed and passionate about advocating for the LGBTQ community. I aim to create a therapeutic space that is warm, inviting, and egalitarian. Moreover, I strive to uncover the root of my clients' problems to help them better understand themselves, their patterns, and work towards lasting change.

I work with individuals and couples ages 18 - 35, primarily focusing on those in their 20s and 30s. I specialize in grief & bereavement, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ issues. My training is primarily within psychodynamic therapy, but I draw heavily from the feminist, humanistic, and interpersonal traditions.

I earned my BA in Psychology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and my MA in Mental Health Counseling at The City College of New York. I have completed training at the William Alanson White Institute in interpersonal psychoanalytic therapy. Additionally, I have conducted research at the Applied Research on the Health & Adaptation of Minority Populations (ARHAMP) Lab at the City College of New York on the quality of father-child relationships and mental health outcomes in young adulthood.
