Mental Health Counselor
I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist. I received a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling Psychology from New York University Steinhart.
While working with adults, couples and adolescents, I operate from a holistic approach to counseling, creating collaborative and personalized treatment plans to meet the specific needs and goals of the individual person or couple.
With a profound commitment and passion for my work, I view psychotherapy as a relational learning experience; one that facilitates emotional and behavioral growth and supports a deep, connected relationship between my clients and myself. I strive to help my clients to develop long term coping skills and understand their resilience in order to achieve their desired goals in therapy.
My extensive clinical training in a variety of modalities includes, psychodynamic, CBT and relational work, which allows me to integrate my theoretical knowledge while focusing on cultivating a unique and personal experience and relationship with each of my clients
I am a “tough” therapist who is not afraid to challenge my clients. By creating a warm and supportive environment, I help my clients find comfort in the discomfort.
After graduating from New York University, I found my passion working with individuals, couples, life transitions, relationships, trauma, anxiety and disordered eating.
