I am an LCSW licensed in NY, CT & MA, seeing adult and adolescent individual clients, as well as couples and groups, in person from my office in Union Square. In addition to my private practice, I am also an advanced candidate in the Four Year Certificate in Psychoanalysis program at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC) and have worked as Clinician at New York University's Student Health Center. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Oberlin College and continued my studies at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where I graduated with Honors with a Masters in Clinical Social Work.
I work with both adult and adolescent patients (15+) and prioritize offering a private and confidential in-person space for clients’ healing and growth. I deeply enjoy working with the student population, as well as people from all walks of life and backgrounds who have decided to make New York City their home (such as young professionals, creative entrepreneurs, and expats). Typical areas of exploration in my practice include: anxiety and depression, identity and self esteem issues, gender/sexuality, existential concerns, relationships, trauma, and life transitions.
I am also starting an interpersonal process group for patients who are looking to explore relational stumbling blocks and blindspots with others in a compassionate space designed to promote personal growth.
I welcome a variety of referrals, clients who fit the profile described above and/or those you believe might be interested and could benefit from group therapy. And as I am an advanced candidate in psychoanalysis, I am also seeking referrals to those who may be interested in high frequency psychoanalytic treatment. I am happy to consult around any potential referral and to discuss the client’s needs/preferences.
So as to best serve the needs and goals of my clients, I welcome collaborating with other professionals involved in their care.
