I am a clinical social worker licensed in NY, CT, and MA who sees clients in person and virtually from my office in the Flatiron/Union Square neighborhoods in Manhattan. In addition to my private practice, I am an advanced candidate in training in the Certificate in Psychoanalysis Program at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC), and work serving student populations of all ages in counseling services at New York University. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Oberlin College and continued my studies at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where I graduated with Honors with a Masters in Clinical Social Work.

I am an inquisitive, open-minded, and resourceful therapist who helps adult and adolescent clients address complex problems, foster a stronger sense of self, and gain a deeper understanding of their emotional and behavioral patterns. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, and I prioritize offering a private and confidential in-person space for clients’ healing and growth to begin. My practice specializations are in the areas of anxiety and self esteem issues, identity development and exploration, and navigating relationship issues and life transitions. I deeply enjoy working with the student population, as well as people from all walks of life and backgrounds who have decided to make New York City their home (such as young professionals, creative entrepreneurs, and expats). I see my work as grounded in deep listening and forming a genuine, active and flexible working relationship with each of my clients.

Although I primarily work with individuals, I have a strong clinical interest in group processes and am planning to facilitate an upcoming interpersonal process groups. Group can be a great adjunct to individual work and tends to be helpful who clients who want to show more of who they really are to others, get more comfortable taking interpersonal risks, and manage self-defeating habits.

So as to best serve the needs and goals of my clients, I welcome collaborating with other professionals involved in their care.
