Hi, I'm Kathryn, and I'm a psychotherapist based in Eastchester, NY and licensed in both NY and FL. My patients are all ages, and I enjoy working with children and adults.
My approach to therapy is flexible and integrates psychodynamic theory with cognitive behavioral skills. I have extensive post-graduate training in psychoanalysis and trauma-informed practice. I prioritize creating a safe space for you to express yourself and confide your thoughts and feelings. I will listen to you, support you, and point out patterns I notice to help you enhance self-awareness. Through the therapy process, you will gain insight about the heart of your anxieties and troubles and learn the tools to respond mindfully.
