I am a NY Licensed Mental Health Counselor and NJ Licensed Professional Counselor. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from New York University (NYU) and a Master of Education in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, Teachers College.

Growth and change happen when we’re able to let go of old patterns of behavior that no longer serve us. I help clients build concrete skills for managing anxiety, avoidance, negative thoughts, and distressing feelings. My specialized training is in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for OCD, as well as in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatments for panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, trauma, and habit reversal. With these evidence-based treatments as our outline, I work with my clients in collaboration to find the approach, pace, and tools that fit into their unique lives.

I aim to approach all my clients with cultural humility and actively seek out training and consultation to strengthen my awareness of my own assumptions, biases, positionality, power, and privilege. I invite open dialogue about how these and other differences will affect our working relationship.

I welcome each client into treatment with a warm and non-judgmental approach. I work with my clients to uncover their goals, strengths, and “stuck points.” Drawing from my training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I support clients to align their life with the values that matter most to them. In our work together, it won’t be about making difficult things easy, but instead about becoming confident in your ability to do hard things.
